Contract troubleshooting
Throughout the years potential clients have come to see me with very similar questions, particularly when the deal was already executed, at times even compleated, and "something" was going wrong.To help saving time and energy normally spent in face to face conflictive meetings between unhappy parties and to help saving bad commercial relationships, I help to positively re-configure the existing contractual terms, bringing objective, calm and fresh views in the negotiation and, when no agreement is possible, I focus in elaborating an exit strategy. I call this "Contract Troubleshooting". It is an extreamely helpful support that save my clients time in formal and rarely productive exchanges.
At thime, though, the problem is not in the contract itself, but the circunstances aunder which n agreement has been reached.
To help clients to avoid future similar circumstances, or if a client is thinking to sell a branch of its business and need to make sure of the value of the contracts in place I provide a "Contract Assessment" service.
“Contract Assessment”: Review of your internal negotiation processes underlying any flow; Review of your existing contractual position if an evaluation of the business or of an affiliate is needed; recommendations are provided to cure - or improvement - where needed.
“Troubleshooting”: Unique and specific urgent action for a specific contract, commercial relationship or transaction. It is based on an immediate hands-on approach of any of your urgent requirements, with particular enphasis on alternative solutions, exit strategies, requalifications etc.
